About me

I currently work as research adjuct in the Departament of Quantitative Economics at Warsaw School of Economics.

My research focuses on decision making under risk, ambiguity and time delay. I am particularly interested in simple testable models that explain experimental choice data and that are both psychologically plausible and normatively appealing. In particular, I believe that our decisions are strongly influenced by the context in which they are made. Thus in my research I modify standard models of rationality to allow for context effects.

I graduated from the European University Institute in Florence receiving a PhD in economics in 2010 by defending my thesis entitled Risk attitudes and measures of value for risky lotteries under the scientific guidance of Pascal Courty and Fernando Vega-Redondo. I also graduated from European Doctoral Program in Quantitative Economics at Bonn Graduate School of Economics.

I have taught decision theory, game theory, microeconomics, operations research and optimization methods at undergraduate and graduate levels, including masters and PhD programs. Here you can find my Resume
